“For the past 10 years, the band is typically touring close to 120 dates a year,” said Shane Funk, event organizers and Judd Hoos Drummer.  “As a band, we’ve talked for years about hosting our own charity concert, but never had the time off the road to sit down and actually plan it. In 2020, we decided to use our time off the road to write, record and release new music and finally plan this event we’ve been talking about for so long!”

“We’re excited to raise money for a cause that hits so close to home for me personally, as well as so many others around us,” added Andy Young, Judd Hoos guitarist.  “And we’re able to do it the best way we know how, by bringing people together through live music.”

“We welcome Judd Hoos and others to our campus for the Charity Jam,” BHSU President Laurie S. Nichols said. “It’s gratifying to see people working together to raise funds for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.”  Nichols added that this is one of many summer events planned on campus.
