Two Growing South Dakota Brands Join Forces
(Sioux Falls, SD) – Remedy Brewing, a Sioux Falls, SD based brewery, and regional rock band, Judd Hoos, announced a Tour Sponsorship that will take the band on the road starting Spring 2021 on Tuesday morning.
The Judd Hoos Remedy tour will feature 50+ appearances in 7+ states and counting and will last April 2021-March 2022. The deal includes naming rights to the bands tour and featured placement in the tour promotion. Remedy Beer will also be featured at all applicable venues within the Breweries distribution radius, on the tour.
Remedy Brewing Company and Judd Hoos have also initiated the beginning phases of collaboration beer together. Stay tuned for more details on “Hoos Joos,” a Judd Hoos inspired, juicy style IPA to come out later this year.
“Although we operate in different industries, our distribution and touring geography align so well that it just makes sense to join forces and help elevate each other,” said Remedy Brewing CEO, Matt Hastad.
Both Remedy and Judd Hoos are growing South Dakota based entities that are popular across the state and have their sights set on expansion. Judd Hoos is an established touring act that draws thousands to their shows, year-round. Their regional touring schedule extends into 10 states over 120 dates a year. Remedy’s exposure at their live appearances, as well as the naming rights of their tour promotion, made this partnership an appealing proposition to Hastad.
“I remember first connecting with Matt, before Remedy even opened its doors for business. He showed up to our dressing room at The District with something like 20 different beers for us to sample,” said Judd Hoos singer, Tyler Bills. “It’s such an organic and effortless partnership,” added guitarist, Andy Young. “We love to advocate for great craft beer, and Remedy has always been an advocate to musicians and artists.”
Remedy Brewing Company originally opened their taproom location on 8th & Railroad Center in Downtown Sioux Falls back in 2017. Two years later, they expanded into their second location and production facility on West Avenue, just blocks from the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center.
2021 is full of optimism for Judd Hoos. The band will hit the ground running when they release the upcoming EP, Not Alone, due out June 4, 2021. The project was recorded in October of 2020 in Nashville, TN by producer J. Hall and Nickolas Blazina (Young the Giant, Delta Saints, Ric Todd). The band not only spent 2020 writing and recording but managed to play the 2020 Winter NAMM Show in Anaheim, CA, headline 10 nights at the 80th Sturgis Motorcycle Rally and showcased during the NACA Live convention in Denver, CO.
